Meet Jared, LNA Training Program Alum:
Meet Jared—an incredible example of growth, dedication, and following your passion in healthcare.
Starting his journey through the DHCI LNA Training Program in partnership with River Valley Community College, Jared built a strong foundation as an LNA at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics, supporting patients in the Intensive Critical Care Unit and later the Heart & Vascular Unit.
Driven to expand his impact, he pursued EMT training—something he had long set his sights on. Tat step led him to a full-time role with Upper Valley Ambulance, where he continued to grow, earning his Advanced EMT license along the way.
Today, Jared has come full circle—returning to DHMC as part of the DHART team, providing critical interfacility transport as a BLS system EMT. And his commitment doesn’t stop there—he also serves his local community as an A-EMT with South Royalton Rescue Squad.
Jared’s story is a powerful reminder that career pathways in healthcare are full of opportunity—when passion meets perseverance, the possibilities are endless.
